    What I need now, as an adult. I have a digital copy of the this album, but I also wanted to have a hard copy. I get it. I understand the evaluation and I appreciate it wholeheartedly. I was an angry teenager when Hybrid Theory came out and that was exactly what I needed when I needed it. As I age I still appreciate the raw emotion that Chester screamed at me, but now as an adult the raw emotion of this album is done just right and as an adult it’s what I need now.     A return to form! …sort of Well, first off, I’ll say that it’s hard for LP to make something that’s as shocking and jarring as Minutes to Midnight was, in terms of what you expect versus what you get. I won’t do a track-by-track review, but overall I’d rate this somewhere between The Hunting Party and Minutes to Midnight (in terms of better to meh). There isn’t much rap or traditional metal on the album, and it has a LOT of “pop” flavor. Some people might like it, some will probably hate it, I’m more ambivalent…
